Buildings, desks and door codes
Almost every DC apartment building has a way in that needs explaining: a front desk that wants a name, a garage code, a lockbox by the mailroom. Put it in the notes when you book and the cleaner arrives knowing the drill. If your building needs a certificate of insurance on file before letting a cleaner up, ask and we will send it.
Smaller spaces show mess faster, so the checklist puts extra attention on the kitchen and bathroom, which in most apartments are the two rooms that decide whether the place feels clean.

What a standard clean covers
Every visit, every room, the same list. For a first visit or a deep clean the list runs slower and reaches baseboards, blinds and door frames.
Kitchen
Counters, backsplash and sink scrubbed. Outside of every appliance. Cabinet fronts wiped. Floor washed by hand at the edges.
Bathrooms
Tub, shower, tile and grout line scrubbed. Toilet inside and out. Mirrors and fixtures polished streak free.
Bedrooms
Beds made with hotel corners. Surfaces dusted top to bottom. Under accessible furniture vacuumed.
Living areas
Dusted high to low, including sills, baseboards, blinds and switch plates. Upholstery vacuumed.
Floors throughout
Vacuumed and mopped, with corners and edges done by hand instead of a machine pass.
Finish
Trash out, fresh liners, and a photo of every room sent to you before your cleaner leaves.

Do you clean apartments on a weekly or every-two-weeks schedule?
Yes. Every two weeks is the most booked option for apartments; weekly is the best value per visit. You can skip or move a visit with 24 hours notice at no charge.
Can I be at work while you clean?
Yes, and most apartment clients are. Leave the access notes when you book. You get a photo of every room before the cleaner leaves.
